CAN I FINISH OR PAINT MY CYPRESS FURNITURE?
Cypress can be easily painted or finished and holds paint longer than other wood. If you choose to paint this product, you should use an exterior oil-based primer (white or gray) followed by an exterior oil or latex paint of your choice. If you choose to have the product remain natural, you should apply a natural oil-based stain or preservative annually or as needed. Note: Cypress is a dense wood and the drying process may take several days depending on humidity and temperature. Small cracks called weather "checking" may appear in the wood. This is a natural process and will not affect the useful life of this product. Cypress has a natural preservative oil known as cypressene, which gives the wood natural resistance to insects and decay. With a suitable surface treatment, cypress wood offers has superior durability, holding paint well and resisting weather. WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we want you to be completely satisfied with your Cypress Moon purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly REFUND 100% of your purchase price (minus shipping and handling) within 30 days of receipt, as long as the product is returned in new, unused, and resalable condition. However, our return/exchange policy is only applicable to unfinished (natural) items. We DO NOT ACCEPT returns/exchanges for STAINED PRODUCTS. Thank you for your understanding.
DO CYPRESS MOON PRODUCTS HAVE A WARRANTY?
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is given only to the original purchaser (the "Buyer") of the new garden furniture (the "Product").ﾠ Cypress Moon, Inc. warrants that the Product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service as long as the Buyer owns the Product.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
• Damage caused by or resulting from product misuse, abuse, neglect, harmful chemicals, improper assembly or maintenance, or accidents.
• Normal weathering or wear and tear (Normal weathering is defined as exposure to sunlight and extremes of weather, including atmospheric pollution and acid rain, which may cause any surface to fade or change color, warp, crack, or acquire dirt or stains. This includes, but is not limited to “checking”, which is the natural process in which lumber cracks over time.)
• Damage resulting from the modification of the Product from its original design.
• Damage to the finish of the Product.
• Damage resulting from the use of the Product for or in connection with a commercial purpose.ﾠ (The Product is intended for personal, family, or household purposes only.)
• Keep a sales receipt, canceled check, or payment record to verify your purchase.
• Maintain the Product in accordance with the specifications provided to you with the Product.
• Retain a photocopy of all information provided to Cypress Moon in connection with a claimed defect in the Product.
The duration of this warranty is limited to claims arising and made in writing to Cypress Moon during the period that Buyer owns the Product.ﾠ To report a warranty claim, the Buyer must either call the telephone number below or send a letter or email to the address below.ﾠ The Buyer must also provide proof of purchase, a photograph of the defective Product, and an explanation of the claimed defect.ﾠ Cypress Moon will either repair/replace the Product or replace the defective part or portion of the Product, at the option of Cypress Moon.ﾠ Cypress Moon reserves the right to discontinue or make changes to the Product.ﾠ If a Product covered by this warranty is not available, Cypress Moon will have the right to substitute a product, that in Cypress Moon' sole discretion, is of equal or greater quality and similar appearance.
Any Product returned to Cypress Moon without prior written authorization will not be accepted, and Buyer must pay the shipping costs.
This warranty extends only to the Buyer of the Product; this warranty will automatically terminate upon any sale of transfer of the Product by the Buyer.
IN NO EVENT WILL Cypress Moon BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF BUYER.ﾠ SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
WHAT IF MY PURCHASED ITEM ARRIVES DAMAGED?If your item(s) arrive damaged, please do NOT "refuse delivery", but accept the package and proceed with the following steps. Failure to accept the package and follow our company procedure will result in charges for return shipping (plus 20% restocking fee) being applied to your account.
DAMAGED PRODUCT(S) PROCEDURE: We will gladly send you replacement parts for the damaged parts, or for extensive damage, we will replace the item at no cost to you. For a total replacement claim, please forward a description of the damage, and a photograph of both the packaging and item(s) to firstname.lastname@example.org. For parts replacement, simply email us a description of the damaged part and a photograph of the damage. NOTE: Claims for damaged items must be made within 7 days of our ship date to you.

Yes! When your swing arrives, it is already mostly put together. However, it needs a few bolts and screws before it is complete.
